Take the next step

A CU Trust Advisor is ready to answer questions and help you take the next step, whether you’re curious about how we could partner or have a client you would like to connect us to.

We are headquartered in Troy and have representatives across Michigan.

Let's talk about your needs.

Need a professional trustee?

Michael had been working with an Investment Advisor in western Michigan for some time. He was in the process of creating a trust and wanted a professional trustee.

The advisor referred Michael  to CU Trust. We helped create an Investment Policy Statement. The advisor retains the investments and CU Trust handles other trustee-related responsibilities.

Get the support you need.

Laura is a client of a Wealth Advisor in southeastern Michigan. Laura is also the beneficiary and co-trustee of a series of trusts created by her deceased spouse.

Laura was looking for more support than what she was receiving from her existing co-trustee. Laura’s attorney and the advisor matched Laura with CU Trust, and we are now serving as co-trustee with her, providing assistance with principal and income accounting, distributions, and tax-related issues.

A custodian request.

An attorney in mid-Michigan was serving as trustee for one of his clients. He asked CU Trust to step in and serve as custodian.

CU Trust agreed and now offers valuable fiduciary recordkeeping. The advisor has trading access; the advisor, attorney, and CPA all receive performance reporting and trust accounting from CU Trust.

Offering advanced planning?

Consider the value of recommending Credit Union Trust as a corporate trustee, particularly for clients with blended families or special needs. In addition to enhancing your value, our partnership could expand your ability to retain relationships with beneficiaries/subsequent generations of the family.
