David Benedetto Appointed Chief Fiduciary Officer

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – April 15, 2024

Continuing to grow its trust and fiduciary business throughout Michigan and beyond, Credit Union Trust has expanded its trust team with the addition of David Benedetto as EVP, Chief Fiduciary Officer.

An experienced trust advisor and manager, Dave oversees the management and administration of trusts, estates, investment agency, and other fiduciary accounts to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Dave has extensive experience in the trust industry, formerly serving as VP, Regional Manager and Trust Advisor for Comerica and VP, Senior Trust Officer at Merrill Lynch. Prior to his appointment as Chief Fiduciary Officer, he worked with CU Trust extensively as a consultant, contributing to the organization’s procedures, research, and accounting, and working with attorneys and CPAs throughout the trust administration and settlement process.

Dave holds a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Albion College and a JD from Wayne State University School of Law.
